looking for a Systems Design Engineer to join the Advanced Test
Organization in Berkeley, MO. The Advanced Test Operations
organization is focused on modifying, certifying, and operating
experimental aircraft to be used as flying laboratories to acquire
engineering research data for Boeing program customers. The Systems
Design Engineer conceptualizes, builds, and tests combined hardware
and software systems.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad
range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced, and
Lead Systems Design Engineers.Position Responsibilities:
- Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic
and electrical system requirements
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and
software designs and interface specifications
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational
and functional requirements
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and
compliance with requirements
- Solves problems concerning hardware/software systems and
provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the
entire product lifecycle
- Researches specific technology advances for potential
application to company business needsThis position is expected to
be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work
onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- 1+ years of experience in Systems, Hardware or Software
developmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in avionics and/or mission systems
integration
- Knowledge of digital signal processing
- Experience developing, integrating, and debugging applications
in C++
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Experience with Linux OS
- Experience with Autopilot integration
- Experience with military communications protocols/networksDrug

Summary Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $79,900 -
$108,100Summary Pay Range for Experienced (Level 3): $96,050 -
$129,950Summary Pay Range for Lead (Level 4): $119,850 -
