Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its "Top 100 Places to Work." - -Overview: -The Department of Nursing Excellence consists of and supports the clinical education team at Mercy South. - Our department provides onboarding, residency programs, ongoing education, competency validation, professional development, and many other educational opportunities to all clinical caregivers in a variety of inpatient and specialty units. - Our department is comprised of Diabetic Educators, Residency Educators, Critical Care Educators, Medical/Surgical Educators, Emergency Department Educators, Labor and delivery, Recovery, and Post Partum Educator, Operating Room Educators, and an Onboarding Educator. - We strive to bring unique and interactive educational opportunities to our caregivers supporting their practice of work. - We work closely with our leadership teams to provide clinical education needs to ensure our patients receive the best clinical care and outcomes. - Our educators use a combination of didactic, hands-on and simulation learning styles to engage a variety of student learning needs. Our educators are experts in the clinical education they provide and incorporate Evidence Based Practice process changes. Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Required Education: BSN/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire.
