motivated Production Engineering Manager to support the F-15
Production System in Berkeley, MO.This role is pivotal in the
production of the F-15EX, one of the most capable and formidable
fighter aircraft ever built, serving the United States Air Force.
The F-15EX is primarily manufactured in Berkeley, MO, providing you
with a unique opportunity to be part of a high-functioning team
dedicated to delivering this world class aircraft to our
warfighters.About the Role:In this exciting and rewarding position,
you will lead a dynamic team of Manufacturing, Industrial, and
Liaison Engineers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating
cross-functionally to ensure daily operational execution and
driving continuous process improvements within the production
system. You will work alongside a high-performing team committed to
the successful build of this exceptional aircraft.Position
Responsibilities:
- Inspire, empower, and guide a talented team of production
engineers, fostering their professional growth.
- Oversee daily production support to meet delivery
commitments.
- Identify and eliminate engineering and tooling constraints
affecting aircraft production.
- Collaborate with a strong leadership team to enhance
operational efficiency and team performance.
- Prioritize and support constraint removal, enabling a lean
production system.
- Define areas for opportunity in the production system to enable
rate and quality targets to meet delivery commitments.
- Work with a cross-functional team supporting the production
system to execute projects and plans in support of continuous
improvement
- Ensure the right rate enabling projects are identified for your
area to meet flow requirements to support a TAKT based
factory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers,
stakeholders, and team members.
- Elevate help needed to ensure adequate resources are applied to
address production roadblocks.This position requires the ability to
obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government
requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret
clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams and
projects.
- Strong understanding of production and assembly processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written.Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly with
military or defense programs.
- 3+ years' experience in production operations, leadership or
support.
- Knowledge of Boeing's organizational processes, program plans,
and policies.
- Demonstrated ability in budget management and business process
improvement.
- Familiarity with critical path methodology and project
leadership principles.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data
into actionable insights.
- Experience with structural repair principles and systems
thinking.
