Our team is motivated, dedicated, and collaborative, handling a broad range of illnesses and injuries — especially important since we are the only trauma-rated and pediatric emergency department in the area. - Nurse-to-patient ratio: Typically, 1:4 - Supported by patient care technicians, paramedics, and patient support associates Qualifications: Education & Licensure: - Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program - Must hold and maintain a current RN license for the hiring state or hold a compact nursing license - Comply with all state nursing board requirements Physical Requirements: - Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly - Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts - Capable of gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting as needed Certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) — Required - BLS (Basic Life Support) — Required or must complete within 30 days of hire - Additional unit-specific certifications as required, with timelines for acquisition Why Mercy?
