Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a
detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support large-scale
buffer manufacturing operations. This role requires hands-on lab
experience in wet chemistry (pH solutions, conductivity,
stoichiometry), the ability to operate processing equipment, and
proficiency in documenting production activities. The ideal
candidate will have a background in chemistry or a related hard
science, strong adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to
work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. KEY
ACCOUNTABILITIES Operate Processing Equipment Set up equipment
ensuring operations align with current operating procedures.
Identify malfunctions and, with approval, take corrective actions
(reconfiguring equipment, adjusting set points/parameters). Report
equipment failures and collaborate with repair personnel to resolve
issues. Perform Production Operations Set up and prepare products
according to manufacturing procedures. Perform routine analytical
tests to ensure processes remain in control. Transport chemicals
and equipment using pumps/piping, fork trucks, pallet jacks, or
dollies. Ensure product quality and quantity throughout the
production process. Clean equipment and work areas after production
operations. Coordinate proper disposal of waste and complete
compliance documentation. Communicate & Document Report status of
production operations/equipment and escalate deviations to
supervisor. Provide complete and accurate batch records, including
Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) if applicable. Enter hours worked and
raw materials used into SAP. Ensure all logbooks are filled out
completely per procedures. Safety & Compliance Follow production
procedures and safety policies at all times. Properly use, clean,
and store personal protective equipment (PPE). Label all in-process
equipment and containers appropriately. Resolve unsafe conditions
promptly. Participate in required safety and quality training.
Maintain good housekeeping in laboratory and work areas. Continuous
Improvement & Leadership Participate in process improvements under
supervisor guidance. Independently conduct investigations and
implement ideas to improve processes and technology. Assist in
training co-workers and provide technical direction during
operations. QUALIFICATIONS Education High School Diploma or GED
required. Associate’s degree in Chemistry or related hard science
preferred. Experience Lab experience in wet chemistry (pH
solutions, conductivity, stoichiometry) required. Manufacturing
experience in buffer production or related chemical processes
preferred. SAP experience preferred (training available).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of chemistry and
scientific principles. Ability to operate and troubleshoot
processing equipment. Effective oral and written communication
skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must maintain
a clean-shaven appearance for aseptic compliance. Ability to lift
and transport materials safely using appropriate equipment. WORKING
CONDITIONS Manufacturing and laboratory environment with strict
adherence to safety and quality standards. Requires standing,
walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. PPE required,
including steel-toed shoes. Education: High School Company
