PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Logistics Analyst (Entry)
Position Summary:

  Enhances product workflow by analyzing developing & coordinating logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
  
  
• 
  Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  
  
• 
  Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  
  
• 
  Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  
  
  Requirements and Experience:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Ideal candidates are experienced with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and demonstrate strong competency in using pivot tables, macros, and other data analysis tools to analyze large data sets.
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated experience learning IT tools is also highly sought.
    
    
  • 
    Candidates should be detail-oriented with the ability to recognize how todays work impacts downstream planning.
    
    
  • 
    Requires an Associate's degree and entry level experience in the field or in a related area.
    
    
  • 
    Hired candidates will perform work order execution to plan and forecast resources for crop research pipelines.
    
    
  • 
    Previous experience research settings and project management is valuable.
    
    
  • 
    Familiarity with writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures is also valuable.
    
    
  • 
    This is a remote position, but requires the candidate to come onsite at least 2x a month - potentially up to 1x per week
