currently hiring a Production Assembly Technician located in
Chesterfield, Missouri. Wage starts at $21.12.Wage increases at 6
month, 18 month, and 30 months up to $26.39.Job Summary:The
Production Assembly Technician fabricates Barrier Filters and Aero
structures for commercial and military rotorcraft that protect
engines from unscheduled maintenance and or replacement.Donaldson
Assembly Technicians are responsible to efficiently perform all
tasks while keeping accurate records following all procedures and
policies while focusing on first pass yields.The selected candidate
will have technical and mechanical skills to conduct close
tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation,
rivet installation, trimming, assembly and is able to use
micrometers, rulers, and calipers to conduct in process
self-inspections.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Build Engine Inlet
Air Filtration Systems for rotorcraftMaintain an acceptable level
of attendance (as measured by the Attendance Policy)Install and
remove: universal and flush head rivets, hi-loks, cherry-max and
cherrylock rivets, hi-shear fasteners and platenutsWork with and
around a variety of chemicals and follow all standards regarding
PPEInterprets Engineering drawings and other documents to ensure
proper build completionEffectively documents job completion
paperworkUse protective equipment as requiredOther duties as
required.Preferred Qualification:Education/Training:High school or
equivalentFAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred but other
experience or training will be consideredMilitary experience is a
plusDesirable Attributes:Positive AttitudeMust be a team player,
strong communications skills, attention to detailAvailability to
occasional Overtime and Shift FlexibilityDrilling and riveting
skills essentialFamiliarity with drawings, specifications, math
skills and work instructionsAbility to use and effectively manage,
time reporting, company intranet and databasesComputer knowledge
