Behavior Technician Job SummaryThe Behavior Technician works directly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other diagnoses to teach the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Training in ABA principles will be provided. Behavior Technicians work in a variety of settings including group homes, family homes, schools, communities, and other facilities. Behavior Technicians receive consistent supervision from Board Certified Behavior Analysts to ensure prompt feedback and ongoing training.Who We AreHope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art services in the most inclusive environments to encourage persons to fulfill their potential through evidence-based treatment, advocacy, and community education.At Therapy Relief at Hope, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians and other qualified service professionals provide medically necessary Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities of all ages.Behavior Technician Job Duties:

  • Teach individuals with ASD using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Effectively communicate with families, guardians, and/or service coordinators about individual progress
  • Work with the treatment team to help individuals achieve individualized communication and early learning goals
  • Assist with planning and preparing for community-based group activities
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Catalyst DataFinch to enter data from sessions
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitudeBehavior Technician Qualifications:
    • Be 18+ years old, posses a high school diploma, and able to pass a background check
    • Have a desire to learn how to employ the strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis while teaching
    • Be enthusiastic, a team player, and enjoy working with individuals of all agesPaid Training Opportunities:
      • Web-based learning modules in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
      • Ability to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board PI175116627
