Headway Workforce Solutions is partnered with the University of Michigan Survey Research Center (SRC) to find motivated and persistent part-time Field Interviewers in the St. Louis, MO area to work on the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG). This position offers $18.00 per hour.The National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) is a national survey of women and men 15-49 years of age designed to provide national estimates of factors affecting pregnancy and birth rates, including sexual activity, cohabitation, marriage, divorce, contraceptive use, miscarriage and still birth, infertility, and use of medical services for family planning and infertility. Production work is scheduled until September 2019.As a part-time Field Interviewer with the University of Michigan, you will:Conduct face-to-face interviews in a variety of households and neighborhoods, and be comfortable with all types of situations that may be encountered when screening and interviewing in a cross-section of householdsUse a tablet PC to conduct electronic listing, screening, and interviewing activitiesPerform administrative tasks including record keeping, daily transmissions by computer, daily submission of time and expense data, reconciling travel advances, and attending all required calls/meetingsWork 20 hours per week including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and weekdays;Have the ability to travel overnight as needed (6-8 nights)Attend an in-person training to be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, March 7-16, 2019Travel up to 60 miles one way, when applicable, when working in the field.
