The Boeing Company is currently seeking F/A-18 Mission Systems
Analysis, Integration, and Test Engineers to join the F-18 Advanced
Mission Systems team located in Berkeley, MO . This position will
focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)
business organization.
This role will involve integration of aircraft mission avionics
systems while working in collaborative environment utilizing SAFe
(Scaled Agile Framework). The selected candidate will have the
opportunity to play a key role supporting the F/A-18 Super Hornet
and Growler fleet. Experience with avionics technology is a
plus.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience
levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Mission Systems
Analysis, Integration, and Test Engineers .
Position Responsibilities:
Work with external customers and internal stakeholders to plan and
execute complex hardware-software integration efforts in a
fast-paced agile environment
Identify, collect, analyze, and organize execution data (metrics)
to manage the program
Responsible for communication across teams and across levels of
technical leadership
Analyze customer requests with consideration for contractual and
technical impacts, and translates them into program and system
requirements
Develop software system requirements
Perform software integration and testing
Architect system design and generate system diagrams to meet
software and hardware requirements
Develop test plans and procedures for system under development
Configure, standup and test hardware
Provide support and solve problems concerning hardware and software
over the entire product lifecycle
Must be proactive in understanding the big picture and the
inter-relationships between positions and activities of the F/A-18
organization
Must be proactive in understanding the product systems and apply
the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance with
first time quality
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security
Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is
required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in
engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
2+ years of working experience with a Bachelor's or Masters or
PhD
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in interdisciplinary engineering planning, design,
development, integration, and validation and verification of
avionics and/or electronics including hardware and software
Experience developing products in an Agile development
environment
Experience developing Avionics products and technologies
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although
not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
accreditation standard.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $79,900 - $108,100
Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950
