Responsibility for cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, any nursing work areas, patient waiting and lounge areas, soiled utilities to keep all work areas and visitor areas clean at all times. Performs other duties as needed. Principle Accountabilities: % Of Time Spent 1. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all of patient rooms/areas. (50%) 2. Responsible for cleaning of all offices and employee areas. (20%) 3. Responsible for cleanliness of all visitor areas and the building as a whole. (15%) 4. Cleaning soiled and clean utility room. (10%) 5. Organizing clean utility rooms in a neat and orderly fashion. (10%) 6. Keep all halls and rooms stocked with paper and soap products. (5%) 7. Perform other work duties as assigned. High school education or GED preferred. One (1) year housekeeping experience in medical facility preferred.
