The Customer Service Specialist will act as an advocate for both the customer as well as for Bunge, ensuring that our customer s needs are handled in an efficient and profitable fashion. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.Essential Functions:Support excellent customer experiences through coordinating shipment and order changes based on delivery window, inventory availability, and fill rate requirements set by the customer.Resolve product or service problems: clarify the customer s complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution.Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, creating a connection and developing a rapport with every customer to provide outstanding, personal service.Serve as a main point of contact and liaison between the customer and internal groups such as the Commercial, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams.Assist Customer Service Supervisor with escalations to resolve operational and customer issues Complete bi-monthly check-ins with customers, focusing on improvement of customer experienceMonitor complaint entry into CRM for accuracy and respond to complaints ensuring a timely response to the customerTravel as necessary to Bunge facilities and customer meetingsSkills & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equitable practical experiencerequiredPrior successful industry customer service experience and/or a proven track record of accomplishments in working in an environment servicing internal and external customers.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written phone/email etiquette skills.Strong attention to detail, problem solving, prioritization, time management and organizational skills.Strong ability to multitaskPositive and professional attitudeAbility to work and collaborate with cross functional teamsSelf-reliant, independent; can be quick and decisive, smart and savvy with good ideas and judgmentStable, adaptive, and able to handle a stressful situation with calm and reason.Flexible, open to change, and can experiment with new solutions to achieve resultsSelf-assured, confident, and secure when making decisions and taking actionFamiliarity with CBOT exchange and fundamentals of futures and basis trading a plusExperience in agribusiness or related industry a plusExperience with SAP, SF.com & Tableau a plusDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with special focus on Excel and Word.This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneousPeople-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsAdaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionDetail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger pictureHigh stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environmentBunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
