Public Works Full-Time BUILDING ATTENDANT

Overview The City of Chesterfield is accepting applications for the position of Building Attendant. Position works independently under the general supervision of the Building Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities Performs general labor, basic maintenance, and janitorial tasks to clean and care for the City facilities in order to maintain a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment. Performs routine cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, waxing, buffing, washing windows, emptying trash and recycle receptacles, cleaning / disinfecting bathrooms, stocking supplies, and general clean-up of the facility exterior. Skill Requirements Must possess knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in general building maintenance and cleaning practices/procedures. Must possess a valid Missouri Driver s License and be able to work days, evenings and weekends. High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience in maintenance and janitorial-related work preferred. Compensation This is a non-exempt position with a starting annual rate of $37,835 ($18.18/hour). Other A City Employment Application must be submitted for consideration.
