Overview: Responsible for the execution of effective and efficient
care delivery operations across the Mercy ministry. Directs and
oversees strategic and tactical developments to promote clinical,
operational, and financial performance excellence. Evaluates
complex corporate and competitive information for enhanced,
comprehensive decision making, with the objective of improving the
timeliness and the quality of the input to the decision process.
Ensures the use of applications/technology enhance business
decision-making capabilities and improve care delivery across the
continuum. Responsible for leading the development of analytic
platforms capable of resolving escalated issues arising from
operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Facilitates organizational strategies for governance, design,
implementation, integration, and usage. Provides guidance to
strategic decisions that affect ambulatory, service line, and
operational excellence. Partners with the system CNO to develop
growth strategies, including associated operational and capital
plans. Partners with industry to identify and facilitate growth of
strategic partnerships throughout the value chain, resulting in
improved operational capabilities to sustain Mercy clinical
Experience: Five years of progressive professional experience in
hospital operations, health system or consulting settings required.
Five years of experience in utilizing integrated technology
platforms for strategic planning in a hospital, health system,
professional services firm or other healthcare setting. Required
Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration/Health
Administration or a related field required.
