Job Description Vestal Corporation seeks unique and talented candidate interested in the position of Civil Engineer. Number of years of experience desired is 10-15 years, and is less important than that of actual experience, talent and potential. ( PE required) The perfect candidate for this position (not necessarily in any order of priority): Curiosity about and passion for all things in the design/build environment Hands on Computer Aided Drafting skills, Civil 3D Detail oriented Proficient with the tools of the trade and always adding new skills Continuous learner A natural engineer with high degree of civil engineering aptitude that is classically trained on fundamentals of fluids, materials & soil mechanics, survey and construction materials Leader that is proactive, takes initiative and perseveres Personality that meshes well with the rest of the team and with clients Productive and hardworking Lean Design & Construction experience preferred Scrum experience preferred The position requires daily application of a broad range of AEC-type Civil engineering skills, many of which the candidate will bring and some of which the candidate is enthusiastically be interested in learning on the job: Site Layout and Design Grading Storm Water Drainage Sanitary Sewer Design Erosion Control Design MSD Experience Flood Studies Hydrologic and Hydrology experience Pavement and Roadway Design CAD skills: AutoCAD - Civil 3D (Required) REVIT (Preferred) Significant functional knowledge and use of Codes and design standards is required: ASCE AWWA International Codes Application of Civil engineering handbooks and manuals. Proficient user of the following software is a plus: AutoTurn Hec-Raz Navisworks MS Office Suite WinEst Pro Plus SpecsIntact USFGS Acrom e-SPECS Linx

Educational requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineered is required.
