Performs the primary functions of a
registered professional in evaluating a designated group of
residents in accordance with all established Nursing standards and
hospital policies. Is responsible for managing all assigned
personnel, supplies and equipment on the unit and for promoting
Team work with all members of the health care team. Performs duties

7. Coordinates all aspects of resident
care, including planning, intervention, education and evaluation:

shooting, maintenance c. Accesses and flushes ports.
d. Performs IV push meds
e. Performs suture removal
f. Performs drain removal/maintains
g. Participates in stat team response
h. Participates in all fire drills
i. Provides resident education
j. Conducts resident care conferences
k. Draws labs/specimen collection

n. Administers respiratory treatments i.e.,
pulse oximetry, Nebs, oxygen

Nursing Degree. Current licensure as a
Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Missouri.
Prefer Medical - Surgical and/or Geriatric
Nursing experience. The assessment, care and treatment provided by
the staff will be consistent with the specific age related needs of
the patient. The staff is competent to care for patient age groups
including the adult and geriatric patient.
Employee is required to walk frequently and
sit occasionally. Employee must lift/carry 20-50 lbs unassisted and
over 100 lbs with assistance. Employee is occasionally required to
bend, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, lift waist to overhead. Employee
is occasionally required to reach forward and reach overhead. For
repetitive action, employee is required to use both hands for
simple grasping and pushing/pulling. Employee is occasionally
exposed to electrical hazards and CRT terminal work. Verbal and
cognitive, as well as motor coordination and manual dexterity.
Speech, hearing, and near-visual acuity are required. May be needed
to work any shift within 0600-1700 Monday - Friday and 0700-1300 on
Saturdays. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood borne
pathogens. (Occasionally: 1-33%, Frequently: 34-66%, Continuously:
67-100%) The most significant of duties are included but this does
