DescriptionCrown is seeking an IT intern to provide desktop support to 450 employees in 30 locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The internship is open to students who are enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in information systems, computer science or related field of study. The initial period of internship is Spring of 2021 and Fall semester 2021. It may be extended for up to two additional semesters by mutual agreement between the student and Crown. The work location is Crown's corporate headquarters in Chesterfield, MO.
Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy workstations
• Deploy software updates
• Diagnose and address common user issues in a professional and collegial manner
• Perform system administration functions
• Assist IT Operations Supervisor with other tasks as assigned
  Qualifications
  • Senior status working toward a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative gpa.
  • Basic working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Completed course work in some related technical areas (e.g., operating systems, networks, server administration, workstation configuration, etc)
  • Ability to learn and apply trouble shooting methods workstations, operating systems, network, etc.
  • Intern must have transportation and be available to work at least 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8am and 7pm.

      Compensation This is a paid internship. The intern will be a part time hourly Crown employee.
