Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Project Manager to the Transmission and Distribution organization in the St. Louis, MO area. The Project Manager will manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of work related to projects covering networks, telecommunications, automation, SCADA systems, fiber installation, and more! The Project Manager is expected to proactively grow client relationships into repeat business and expand service offerings. The Project Manager will be responsible for the profit and loss of individual projects, the successful completion of projects within specified dates, and establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with the Owner, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and any other project stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist in the pursuit of new clients, coordinate with client Account Managers, and internal leadership with direct marketing responsibilities.

Major responsibilities for the Project Manager will include: Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and participate in contract negotiations, Provide overall management of projects from concept to completion including but not limited to siting, environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and closeout. Additionally, will develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs and will own internal project financials (detailed, accurate project cost forecast and accruals), staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and human resource issues.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience as a Project Manager

3+ years of experience within the Telecommunication/Network space

Comfortable managing internal delivery of projects (schedule, scope, budget, communication)

Bachelor's Degree or Higher

PE or PMP or MBA

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience managing and growing client relationships

Experience with capital projects within engineering and construction

Experience within the Transmission & Distribution space
