Payroll Clerk Chesterfield MO ? CPC Logistics, the nation's leader in providing truck drivers for private fleets has an immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk with experience in Chesterfield, MO. This position is located at our Main office near the intersection of Hwy 40 and Route 141.Responsibilities include: Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data Ensures all timecards have proper signatures and/or approvals upon submission Garnish wages due to Child Support, IRS, Court Orders, etc. Ensure that all notes and data is inputted into the payroll software Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential Ensure all payroll reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner Qualified candidates will: Have 2-5 years of payroll clerk experience (Transportation experience a plus!) Be familiar with Microsoft Office programs Proficient in Excel State Labor Laws pertaining to wages, breaks, lunches, etc. DOT Hours of Service regulations Company policies and procedures Have a focus on customer service Have excellent problem-solving skills
