Implement applications, upgrades, tools and processes that assist the clinician. Assists with application implementation and system customization. Provides technical support, diagnosis of application errors and troubleshooting with system issues. Assist with testing and development of educational tools for end users of the application. Develop test plans. Support testing and end user training as needed. Recommend innovative ideas, processes and/or procedures for enhancements, additions and modifications to improve existing systems. Assist with the configuration and setup of new users within the clinical systems as they relate to the EHR. Serves as a resource person for daily operational issues within the electronic health record. Work with other members of the team to implement solutions to problems. Participate on integration committees as requested. Key Capabilities Writes business requirements and designs functional and technical specific or programs within a small and midsize system under direction of a more experienced analyst Configures simple to moderately complex application components based on functional requirements Applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of workflow systems that provide seamless integration for multi-tier applications Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues Follows project and software development methodologies and processes Career Level Characteristics Detail oriented and capable of exploring innovative solutions to solve complex problems and address issues. Experience in clinical systems, including implementation, support, configuration, optimization, etc. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work. Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations. Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to work independently, exercise creativity and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to handle difficult situations involving healthcare workers of all levels. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: Minimum Requirements Prefer 3-5 years in healthcare, IT or related ecperience. Prefer Bachelor's degree.
