weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a
travel CT Technologist for a night shift radiology position
requiring 1 year of experience in an ED/trauma setting with CTA and
perfusion exposure. Details - Radiology department within an acute
care hospital setting - Patient population includes ED, trauma,
stroke, CTA, and perfusion cases - Uses GE Revolution (256-slice)
and Siemens CT scanners - EMR: Epic - Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts
- No weekend or call requirements - No float requirement
Requirements - Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
in an ED, trauma, stroke, CTA, and perfusion setting - ARRT and
ARRT(CT) certifications required - Missouri Radiologic Technologist
license required if applicable - BLS required - Graduation from an
AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology required - Experience
operating GE Revolution (256-slice) and Siemens CT scanners - CTA
and perfusion experience preferred - Ability to manipulate patient
transfer equipment, lift and transport patients, and perform
continual standing and walking - Ability to recognize emergency
situations and adapt to a fast-paced work environment - Valid U.S.
Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted -
No gaps in employment of 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information - Performs CT procedures under the direction
of a Radiologist, applying independent judgment to achieve optimal
image quality - Responsible for anatomical positioning, technical
factor selection and modification, and patient care throughout all
CT imaging procedures - Prioritizes patient welfare,
confidentiality, and comfort at all times - Black scrubs required -
Flu vaccination is required; exemptions must be client-approved -
Up to 5 days of RTO is permitted but must be made up during the
assignment - Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are
eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate - Local candidates
within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts;
after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility
