Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Job Description – Travel ER RN (Float Pool)
Overview: Seeking experienced ER RNs for a Metro Float Pool across
multiple facilities. Candidates must be comfortable working in
diverse emergency settings with varying shift start times and
patient populations. Position Details: - 36 hours guaranteed (up to
3 call-offs in 13 weeks) - Shift times may vary (e.g., 0700–1930,
0600–1830, 0645–1845) - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend -
Locals accepted Float Pool Facilities: - Barnes, Christian,
Missouri Baptist, West County, St. Peters, Progress West Patient
Population / Cases: - Chest pain, abdominal pain, CVA - Trauma,
lacerations, orthopedics - Pneumonia, COVID, CHF, COPD, asthma -
Diabetic patients, sepsis, UTI - Behavioral health, eye/dental pain
- GI bleeds, sickle cell, wound care, STDs Requirements: - Minimum
2 years of ER experience - Travel experience required (no
first-time travelers) - Must be comfortable in a fast-paced,
high-acuity environment Required Skills: - Conscious sedation -
Telemetry monitoring Certifications: - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
- TNCC (preferred) Additional Notes: - Condensed compliance
