ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week • 13-week assignment length • Weekend hours required every other weekend as needed by facility • No call requirements • 1 year Med Surg experience required (inpatient only) • Current RN license required (must meet Missouri licensure eligibility or be currently licensed in Missouri) • BLS certification from AHA required • ACLS from AHA preferred • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed • Patient ratios of 1:5/6 on 60-bed medical unit • Work with equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Provide care for medical patients of all age groups • Black scrubs required • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1-April 1 • Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation • Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
