Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 6, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Telemetry position at an acute care Magnet hospital in Illinois, requiring cardiac drip management and Epic experience. Details - Acute care Magnet hospital with 40 beds on the telemetry unit and 222 beds facility-wide - High-risk cardiac telemetry unit - Patient ratio of 1:5-6 - Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) - Every other weekend required - No on-call required - Floating required to all inpatient units at both campuses within scope of practice - Charting via Epic (experience required) - Free parking available - Navy scrubs required Requirements - Active IL RN license required; pending IL license may be acceptable — note status when applying - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience required - Cardiac drip management experience required - Arterial sheath pull experience required - Central line management experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation - Former permanent employees of this health system must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler - Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required - Holiday coverage expectations apply per facility policy American Traveler Job ID P-680437.
