Job Description:

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our compassionate medical team. This role involves assisting in surgical operations under strict protocols, adhering to SSM Health's commitment to excellence in patient care. You will prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and help doctors during surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of sterile technique are maintained. Prepare and maintain the surgical area with necessary instruments and supplies. Ensure all instruments and supplies are sterilized and ready for use. Assist surgeons during procedures, handling instruments and materials. Help in positioning the patient and managing the operating room environment. Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a sterile environment. Participate in post-surgical procedures, including room cleanup and instrument sterilization. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Knowledge of sterile procedures and techniques. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Capability to follow detailed instructions. Proficiency in handling surgical instruments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
