Job Description:
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated Sonographer to join our team
for weekend shifts. As part of a leading not-for-profit Catholic
health system, you will play an integral role in providing
compassionate and comprehensive care by using imaging technology to
assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position
requires a combination of technical skill, patient interaction, and
a commitment to providing the highest level of care in alignment
with our mission to serve our communities. Operate ultrasound
equipment to capture images necessary for diagnosis Work closely
with physicians to analyze findings and deliver comprehensive
patient reports Ensure patient comfort and safety during ultrasound
examinations Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to
confidentiality guidelines Participate in ongoing education and
training to stay current with the latest technological advancements
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment
Proficiency in using diagnostic ultrasound equipment Strong
analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Detail-oriented and capable of handling
sensitive information discreetly Ability to work independently and

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Basic
