Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,983 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110! Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License required at time of submission Certifications: BLS and CPI required Must-Have: Geriatric experience Inpatient experience Locked unit experience Medical/Psych experience Substance use/Chemical dependency experience Medication administration experience (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc.) Starting and maintaining IVs Blood glucose monitoring Foley catheter insertion/maintenance Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to an adult psychiatric population and geriatric patients. Patients may have co-morbid medical conditions necessitating a med-surg approach. This role includes working with patients experiencing dementia, depression, Parkinson's disease, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. The Registered Nurse will ensure a presence in the milieu and apply restraints as needed. The nurse will work as charge nurse as required. Patient ratios are 1 to 6. Every other weekend is required. The clinician may float within the behavioral health service line, including other units. On-call duty is not required. Candidates should have experience with Epic as the charting system. This position does not accept local candidates within a specified radius. Med-surg experience within the past three years is required. Applicants must have two supervisory references from the past two years.
