The Animal Medical Center of Mid-America (AMCMA), operated by the Humane Society of Missouri, is hiring a Veterinary Assistant at our AAHA-accredited, not-for-profit veterinary clinic and surgery center. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your skills and explore a variety of career paths in veterinary medicine. Many of our former assistants have gone on to vet tech programs or veterinary school. As part of HSMO, proceeds from our clinic support the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of animals in need-so every shift directly supports our mission.
