Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Skilled Nursing - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing and Rehab position in a long-term care facility, requiring an active IL RN license and strong Med/Surg skills. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based in a skilled nursing and rehab unit within a long-term care facility - Cares for up to 20 residents with an average daily census of 72 - Patient population includes dementia, rehab, and post-surgical cases - Direct patient care responsibilities, including IV administration and wound care - Required to work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 to 19:00 - Every other weekend rotation is required - No on-call responsibilities - Utilizes PowerChart EMR system - First-time travelers will be considered for this position - Works closely with CNA/HCA staff as part of a collaborative care team - Special equipment such as lifting devices is utilized for patient care - Blue scrubs are required for staff attire - Free parking is available onsite - No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract and no RTO during the first week of orientation - Permanent facility employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler - Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility /n /n Requirements/n - Active IL RN license in hand required at time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years RN experience required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - IV certification required prior to start - Dementia care training or experience strongly recommended - Strong Med/Surg and acute care experience helpful, but not required - Excellent customer service skills required - Experience with PowerChart EMR preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-656776.
