Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - ICU Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be specified on submission) /n• Weekend work required every other weekend /n• No call requirements /n• 13-week assignment length /n• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs /n• 1 year ICU experience required (inpatient only) /n• Current Missouri RN license or eligible for Missouri licensure /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS /n• Preferred certification: TNCC /n• Work in 16-bed Neurologic Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratios /n• Care for neuro, trauma, and surgical patients including acute stroke, trauma, and surgical interventions /n• Use EPIC EMR system /n• Work with advanced equipment including bedside telemetry, ventilators, bipap/cpap, ventriculostomy's, arterial lines, central lines, arctic sun, CRRT, Zoll /n• Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments /n• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality /n• Black scrubs required - no hats, non-facility jackets/sweatshirts, or air pods allowed /n• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1 /n• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and patient lifting with assistance /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for over 140 years, earning a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.
