Telemetry RN Job Details - Location: Belleville, IL (62226) – Greater St. Louis Area - Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Telemetry Unit - Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: December 1, 2025 - End Date: March 2, 2026 - Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), 3 shifts/week - Hours per Week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 - Charting System: EPIC - Scrub Color: Navy - Parking: Free on-site - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1960 - $2010 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active and valid Illinois RN license (required at time of submission) - Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry Registered Nurse experience - Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) - Proficient in cardiac drips (no titration), sheath pulls, and central line management - EPIC electronic medical record experience required - Ability to float to all inpatient units at both Belleville and Memorial East campuses - Compliance with hospital policies, including fit testing and flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions accepted) - References preferred at time of submittal - Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility Telemetry RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, and perform sheath pulls - Provide central line care, tracheostomy care, and wound care/wound vac management - Administer and monitor procedural sedation as needed - Participate in hourly rounding and bedside shift reports for all assigned patients - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams - Float within scope to meet facility needs at both Belleville and Memorial East campuses - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
