Job Description Job Description Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity - St. Louis, MO This role is available for either part-time or full-time Internal Medicine Physicians who focus on wound care management across various healthcare settings. There are no night shifts, weekend duties, or on-call responsibilities. Physicians will perform bedside wound care rounds, leverage advanced clinical technologies, and benefit from paid training, including a specialized wound care fellowship. The position offers flexibility, a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits, requiring active medical licensure and the ability to travel within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice area. No Night Shifts, No On-Call Duties, No Weekend Responsibilities Become proficient in wound management while learning from experienced, certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize state-of-the-art clinical technologies and the latest wound care techniques. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We offer comprehensive wound management training and a fellowship to equip you with the necessary skills for clinical excellence. Full-time W2 physicians typically earn around $300,000 annually, in addition to benefits. Enjoy the flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule, with full-time positions averaging a 45-hour work week. Paid training is included. Qualifications: Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice. A minimum commitment of three weekdays per week is required. Practice Details: Full-time hours: Monday to Friday (7 AM - 4 PM), with part-time options available. No on-call or weekend clinical duties. Physicians provide modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Weekly wound rounds are conducted at each facility. Part-time roles require a minimum of three days per week, while full-time roles involve four to five days per week. This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians typically visit 2-3 facilities daily, treating approximately 20-30 patients each day. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time during rounds using our proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a six-month wound care fellowship. This position is offered as a W2 employment contract (work visa sponsorship is not available). Benefits: Comprehensive health and retirement benefits are included.
