Physician Opportunity We are seeking a Board Certified or Board
Eligible Cardiologist specializing in Adult Congenital Heart
Disease to become a part of our Pediatric Cardiology Division. This
role encompasses clinical practice, education, research, and
involvement in a multidisciplinary ACHD program at a prominent
academic medical institution. Candidates should have completed
accredited cardiology fellowships and will work with both pediatric
and adult patients in a cutting-edge facility associated with a
well-respected medical school. BC/BE Adult Congenital Heart Disease
(ACHD) Cardiologist Our Pediatric Cardiology Division is actively
looking for a full-time BC/BE Adult Congenital Heart Disease
cardiologist, whether on the pediatric or adult track, to join our
established team of academic cardiologists. The ACHD Program is the
only accredited center in the region and is recognized by the Adult
Congenital Heart Association. Our program extends support to adult
hospital partners within our network and other local hospitals.
Currently, our division includes eleven pediatric cardiologists,
two clinical nurse practitioners, dedicated nursing staff, and a
pediatric cardiology fellowship training program. The ACHD team
consists of one physician, one physician assistant, and a dedicated
nurse/program manager. Our Cardiology division operates within the
Dorothy and Larry Dallas Heart Center, which features an active
congenital heart surgery program, advanced operating rooms, a
65-bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit, a 20-bed pediatric
intensive care unit, a hybrid cardiac catheterization lab/operating
suite, and a specialized electrophysiology laboratory. Our facility
is a free-standing children's hospital staffed by faculty from a
prestigious medical school. Adjacent to us is our adult hospital,
completed in 2020, which is a 365-bed facility offering
comprehensive cardiac services and various non-cardiac specialties.
Position Highlights: Become part of a well-established team of
academic pediatric and adult cardiologists. Your primary clinical
focus will be on Adult Congenital Heart Disease, with additional
responsibilities in inpatient services and non-invasive imaging.
Opportunity to expand multidisciplinary clinical programs, engage
in research, and seek programmatic funding. Faculty appointment
with a medical school, with clinical rank based on experience. We
offer both outpatient and inpatient consultative care, along with a
full range of diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures,
including echocardiography, advanced imaging (MRI and CT),
congenital cardiac catheterization and intervention,
electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery. Participate in the
education of medical students, residents, and cardiovascular
fellows. Numerous opportunities to engage in research initiatives.
Involvement in statewide and national ACHD advocacy efforts.
Qualifications: Applicants should possess an M.D. or equivalent
degree, be board certified or board eligible in either Pediatric
Cardiology or Adult Cardiology, and be eligible for medical
licensure in Missouri. Candidates must have completed an ACGME
accredited 3-year fellowship in either Pediatric or Adult
Cardiology. Advanced training or substantial experience in ACHD is
