Job Description Job Description Nephrology - Physician Opportunity The Clinical Nephrologist will deliver comprehensive nephrology services, which include inpatient consultations, outpatient clinic management, and oversight of chronic dialysis patients, all while guiding medical trainees in an academic hospital environment. This position requires active involvement in both clinical and educational projects at our organization, which is affiliated with a prominent medical school. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in nephrology and possess or be eligible for a medical license in Missouri. We are looking for a Clinical Nephrologist to join our faculty, offering a chance to practice general nephrology while playing a vital role in the education and mentorship of medical trainees within a collaborative academic setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver cutting-edge general nephrology care, which includes: Acting as the attending physician on inpatient nephrology consultation teams at our high-acuity hospital Providing care for kidney disease patients in the outpatient nephrology clinic located in the Center for Specialized Medicine Overseeing the management of chronic dialysis patients in outpatient dialysis facilities Guide and educate medical students, residents, and fellows Engage in academic and clinical projects within the department Qualifications: Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology Welcoming candidates of all experience levels, including recent graduates Possession of an active Missouri medical license or eligibility to obtain one Our organization is recognized as a LEVEL 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital for Stroke, Trauma, and STEMI, leading the way in innovative medical treatments, procedures, clinical trials, and comprehensive patient care.
