Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Jefferson City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,122 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHASAP Must-Have: - Experience with adult and geriatric patient age groups - Floating requirements Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Medical Surgical unit on a night shift schedule. The contract is for a duration of 12 weeks. The nurse will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients. Floating to different units as required by the facility is mandatory. The nurse must be comfortable taking call and working weekends. The individual must also be willing to work at least 50% of holidays that occur during the contract period. Experience in charge roles and familiarity with charting systems, preferably Cerner, is preferred. Essential skills include blood product administration, central line management, and wound care. Knowledge of isolation precautions and IV maintenance is required. The nurse should also be proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing patient care equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP devices. Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as interdisciplinary support will be involved in patient care. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. Expectations include demonstrating professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients and their families.
