Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: NIH, ACLS, BCLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required Description: Required to float between facilities as needed. Average Daily Census: 16. Every third weekend required. Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-6. Telemetry experience is required. Experience with adult and geriatric patients, including total joint replacements, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic care, medical management, and oral surgery. Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions to this rule. Travelers must submit their requested time off, which cannot exceed 7 days within a 13-week contract. Scheduled to work every other weekend. References preferred at the time of submission. All travelers will float within the service line. Must have specific charting experience, especially with EPIC. A valid state license is required at the time of submission. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted. No medical marijuana cards will be accepted. Permanent employees must wait one year before returning as travelers. Travelers may stay for a maximum of 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service. This position requires a commitment of a minimum of 13 weeks.
