Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience required License: Must have active license to apply Certifications: ARRT-MR preferred Must-Have: Required Abdomen and Pelvis MRI Skills/Experience: - Abdomen - Abdominal Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) - Abdominal Magnetic resonance venography (MRV) - Female Pelvis - Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) - Male Pelvis Required Cardiovascular MRI Skills/Experience: - MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff Required Chest MRI Skills/Experience: - Chest Required Head and Neck CT Experience/Skills: - Brain - Cranial Nerves - Face/soft tissue neck - Head Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) - Head Magnetic resonance venography (MRV) - Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV) - Orbits Required Musculoskeletal MRI Skills/Experience: - Foot - Hand - Hip/Bony pelvis - Knee - Lower extremity long bones - Shoulder - Sternum - Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast - Upper extremity long bones Required Special Imaging Procedure Skills/Experience: - CINE (Cerebrospinal fluid flow study) - Diffusion (non-brain) - Gradient Echo Imaging - Maximum intensity projection (MIP) - Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) - Perfusion - Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography (Iliac, runoff) - Spin Echo Images - Surface Coils - T-1 Weighted Images - T-2 Weighted Images Required Spine Case MRI Skills/Experience: - Cervical - Lumbar - Sacrum/coccyx - Spinal trauma - Thoracic - Thoracic Magnetic resonance angiography Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience. Candidates with less experience may also be considered. Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. On-call availability is required. Clinicians will not float within their scope to meet facility needs. Block scheduling requests can be discussed with management. No radius restrictions for local candidates. Pending licenses will not be accepted; an active license is mandatory. Candidates should ideally limit requests for time off to no more than 5 days. Cancellation policy allows for client call-offs without payment for up to 36 hours within the assignment duration. Special imaging skills and experience across various areas are required, including abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular, chest, head and neck, musculoskeletal, spine, and special imaging procedures. Cerner experience is required, and level I trauma experience is preferred. Candidates must also be available for fingerprinting compliance requirements.
