License: Must have active Illinois license to apply. Certifications: ARRT-MR preferred. Must-Have: - Required experience in Abdomen and Pelvis MRI Skills/Experience: Abdomen, Abdominal Magnetic Resonance Angiogram (MRA), Abdominal Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Female Pelvis, Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), Male Pelvis. - Required experience in Cardiovascular MRI Skills/Experience: MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff. - Required experience in Chest MRI Skills/Experience: Chest imaging. - Required experience in Head and Neck CT Skills/Experience: Brain, Cranial Nerves, Face/soft Tissue Neck, Head Magnetic Resonance Angiogram (MRA), Head Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Orbits. - Required experience in Musculoskeletal MRI Skills/Experience: Foot, Hand, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Lower Extremity Long Bones, Shoulder, Sternum, Temporomandibular Joint with/without Contrast, Upper Extremity Long Bones. - Required experience in Special Imaging Procedures: CINE (Cerebrospinal Fluid Flow Study), Diffusion (Non-Brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance Angiography (Iliac, Runoff), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T1 Weighted Images, T2 Weighted Images. - Required experience in Spine Case MRI Skills/Experience: Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/Coccyx, Spinal Trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic Magnetic Resonance Angiography. - Cerner experience required. - Level I Trauma experience preferred. - Must arrive 3 business days prior to compliance HDD to meet fingerprinting requirements. Description: The position is for an MRI Tech. Shift is 4x10 evenings from 13:00 to 23:30. Experience of a minimum of 2 years is required. First-timers are accepted. Candidates are required to work weekends and holidays as needed. On-call duty is required as needed. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is not required. Block scheduling can be discussed with the manager. No radius restrictions apply for local candidates. Candidates applying must have an active license. Ideally, no more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed. The client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. Special requirements include specific imaging skills/experience as listed above. Candidates may be placed on-call and this will count as a called-off shift. Background policy must be noted prior to submission. Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 business days prior to start for fingerprinting. Floating is required of all travelers within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals. Only AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted for required certifications. Charting is performed using Cerner, and experience is position specific. Non-billable module hours do apply but vary for clinical roles.
