MERCY ST LOUIS RADIOLOGY RECOVERY AREA Status: Full-Time (36 hrs/wk) Shift: Days - No Call Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards. The position is a 0.9 FTE. 4 eight hour shifts one week, and 5 eight hour shifts the other week (two week pay period). The start time for the shifts range from - depending on where the nurse is scheduled. The weekends are the 2 nd Saturday of the month and rotates among all the nurse who work in this role. Typically, the nurses cover 3-4 Saturday shifts a year in the GI lab. Day off during the pay period can vary depending on needs. Each nurse must have ACLS and PALS. Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (Associates Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 1 year of ICU as a RN or at least 2 years of RN experience.
• Certifications:- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
