**Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Level 1 Trauma Center.

**Job Highlights:**

* Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of experienced critical care nurses and physicians
* Provide care to patients in our CVICU, Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, and Trauma ICU units
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
* Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
* Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
* Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

**Requirements:**

* Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri
* BLS certification
* Experience in critical care nursing preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
