You will work closely with physicians, patients, and families to ensure effective treatment and recovery. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records.*Key Responsibilities:** *Patient Care:* Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatments.* *Administer Medications:* Provide medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosage and administration.* *Develop Care Plans:* Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement individualized care plans for patients.* *Perform Procedures:* Assist with and perform routine medical procedures, including wound care, catheter insertions, and IV placements.* *Patient Education:* Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.* *Coordinate with Healthcare Team:* Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.* *Document Care:* Accurately record patient information, treatments, and progress in electronic health records (EHR).* *Monitor Patient Progress:* Track patient progress, respond to changes in conditions, and report significant findings to the healthcare team.* *Manage Patient Needs:* Address patient needs, including pain management, mobility assistance, and emotional support.* *Ensure Compliance:* Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures to maintain a safe care environment.*Qualifications:** *Education:* Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.* *Licensure:* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.* *Experience:* Previous experience in a Med-Surg or similar clinical setting is preferred.* *Skills:* Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in using EHR systems.* *Certifications:* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.Job Type: ContractPay: $2,100.00 - $2,200.00 per weekExperience:* Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Preferred)* RN (Preferred)Work Location: On the roadby Jobble
