Summary:The Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator facilitates
safety and health activities across all parts of the organization
by engaging employees in the process. The OSH Coordinator works to
implement, facilitate, and improve the company's Safety and Health
Management System (SHMS). This may look like technicians leading
others through incident investigations, safety and health training
sessions, committee meetings, or assisting with workplace
improvements and hazard controls. The OSH Coordinator will have
technical skills and knowledge to support our organization.Key
Responsibilities:Proactive ActivitiesLeads the Safety Committee
meetings and directs their workflow activities.Facilitates Audits
and Inspections with the Supervisors, Team Leads, and Safety
Committee Members.Facilitates Job Hazard Analysis exercises with
the Supervisors, Team Leads, and Safety Committee Members. Incident
ResponseFacilitates incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis
exercises with the collaboration of Supervisors, Team Leads, and
Safety Committee Members. Selects and implements Hazard Controls
with the Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Safety Committee
Members.Facilitates training activities and performance evaluations
with the support of subject matter experts.Assists with maintaining
and improving the company's emergency
preparedness.ComplianceAssists with auditing and implementing
company policies and procedures.Assists with executing the Action
Plan for SHARP Certification and other regulatory compliance
matters.Continuous ImprovementCreates and uses documents for use in
our Safety and Health Management System and proper record
keeping.Continuously improves their workspace and processes by
eliminating waste and making lean improvements.Production
SupportSupports manufacturing and engineering by consulting on
standard work document creation and review.Responds to Andons to
evaluate, reduce, or eliminate hazards to maintain a safe working
environment.Requirements: RequirementsKnowledge & Skills:Highly
proficient with desktop software Strong collaboration and
communication skillsDetail oriented, organized, and process
drivenOSHA Laws and Regulations Experience:1 year of Manufacturing1
to 3+ years of experience in Health and Safety Activities (Root
Cause Analysis, Job Hazard Analysis, Audits/Inspections, Hazard
Identification,and Hierarchy of Controls.)Leading

Full-TimePay:Hourly, Non-Exempt Grade 5Schedule:Flexible, must be
able to support both shifts as needed and directed. Primarily 8a-5p
