IT Service Asset and Configuration Manager

Role:Responsibilities include: --- Assist project and technical teams by pulling and analyzing data from the CMDB--- Document functional and technical requirements--- Identify gaps and propose remediation actions--- Provide updates to and take direction from Configuration Manager--- Build and maintain CI relationships within Configuration Management Database (CMDB)--- Work with CI Owners to identify and understand CI relationships--- Maintain and map application to application dependencies in the CMDB--- Recommend process improvements and metrics to maintain data--- Propose on-going reporting to aid the security team quickly identify vulnerabilities--- Present regular status updates to leadership on progress and changes Required Skills and Experience: --- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar discipline required--- Expertise in Configuration Management, processes, standards, and templates--- Must be familiar with System Development Lifecycle Methodology--- Proven ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required--- Excellent written and oral communication skills--- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly terms--- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities--- Exceptional customer service orientation--- Strong documentation skills Desired Skills and Experience: --- Experience with the design and operation of ITIL processes in a global enterprise--- BMC Remedy experience--- BMC ADDM experience including CMDB Reconciliation--- Understanding or REST APIs--- Scripting and/or application development experience for automation/troubleshooting--- Ability to write and customize SQL queries to assist in data extraction--- ITIL Foundation Certification or higher--- Discovery experience--- Experience with BMC's Suite of applications for Configuration, Change, Incident, Problem & Knowledge Management, and Automation Neteffects:We're committed to empowering each individual who works with us to take charge of their career.
