POSITION DESCRIPTION Company: Oral Surgery Partners Position: Revenue Cycle Manager Reports to: Chief Financial Officer HQ: Chesterfield, MO Investor: Sheridan Capital Partners THE COMPANY Oral Surgery Partners MSO, LLC (---OSP---) is a medical service organization based in Chesterfield, Missouri. OSP is currently supporting thirteen practices, thirty offices and thirty-nine oral surgeons with locations in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, South Carolina, New Jersey and North Dakota. The origins of OSP date back to 2001 and is one of the largest MSOs in the country with aggressive growth plans with the leading oral surgery practices, initially throughout the Midwest. The practices supported by OSP, offer a full range of oral, maxillofacial, and dental implant surgical services to treat a number of issues that affect the mouth and jaw, face and teeth. Common procedures performed by the oral surgeons include wisdom teeth extraction, dental implant placements and several other treatments to help patients rebuild bone structure, heal injuries to the face and jaw and manage facial fractures. For more information, visit OPPORTUNITY Oral Surgery Partners is looking for a motivated, organized, and dedicated Revenue Cycle Manager. This position is responsible for managing all activities within the revenue cycle management including but not limited to: insurance verification, submission of clean claims, collection of patient and insurance receivables, patient and operation communications, and all activities related to patient access and credentialing. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and make changes to workflows as needed to prevent denials, enhance cash collections, improve efficiency, and meet AR performance goals. Manage contractual relationships with insurance companies to maximize reimbursement rates for all managed practices, including adding or deleting insurance companies. Manage staff at various locations involved with insurance companies as necessary to resolve any issues with fee schedules, network status, or billing processes. Ensure adherence to metrics for productivity and quality Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state and federal payer guidelines and regulations as it relates to compliance, authorization, patient privacy, and collection practices. Assess new acquisition revenue cycle processes, UCR rates and reimbursement rates Establish and maintain policy and procedures Gather and analyze information to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Ensure all accounts are worked within the established time frames Identify carrier related denial trends QUALIFICATIONS Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, with prior experience working in revenue cycle management specifically in dental and/or oral surgery General understanding of finance and the impact of billing and collections in the organization Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Bachelor---s degree and 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle including previous supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents Ability to effectively present information to management Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables BENEFITS: Health, PPO and HDHP/HSA Dental Vision Short-Term Disability Company-paid Long-Term Disability Company-paid Life and AD&D Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance for self and family Dependent Care FSA 401(k) and profit sharing PTO and Paid Holidays
