We are currently seeking an Associate Account Manager on our Employee Health & Benefits team in Chesterfield, MO.

We will count on you to:
Assist Account Managers with new and renewal business by: Contacting clients and gathering information.
Preparing applications.
Researching client policy needs and premium data.
Prepare accurate and timely quotes.
Preparing proposal information.

Process new business, endorsements, audits, renewals, claims and other documentation as needed in carrier and agency management systems.
Invoice endorsements, audits, renewals and new business according to agency procedures.
Update computer database as needed.
Prepares evidences of insurance and certificates as needed.
Assists with ensuring departmental compliance.
Assists department with the communication and accuracy of information necessary to serve department and customer needs.
Assists desk coverage for Account Managers as needed.
Maintain effective working relationships with team members, carriers and clients.
Ensures confidentially of information acquired.
Consistently strives to make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction.
Delivers professional client service for new and renewal business.
Following established written guidelines ensure prompt, accurate processing and validation of policies, endorsements, invoices and claims.
Preparing accurate and appropriate correspondence to clients, producers and carriers regarding policy changes and claims.
Maintains effective working relationships with all carriers.
Conduct on-line rating and use of insurance analysis tools.
Ensures confidentially of information acquired.
Adherence to all aspects of the agency's guidelines and procedures.
Provide administrative support including photocopying, faxing, scanning for email and filing.
All other duties as assigned.
What you need to have:
Education/Training/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree; some college or higher education preferred
2 years' experience in the welfare benefits plan industry working for an employer, insurer/administrator, consultant, or broker
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of computing rate, ratio, and percent.
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work independent as well as a team.
PC operation to an intermediate level, including word processing and data entry.
Standard software programs utilized: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet
PC and associated software, printer, fax, telephone, copier, calculator, scanner
LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED:
Missouri Broker's License (can be obtained upon hire)
