    We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking, Learning and Development professional to join our Human Resources team. This newly created position will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs to support Brinkmann Constructors' employee-owners.

    The Learning and Development Manager is a self-starter who develops multimodal learning solutions to support leadership and business skills growth to advance our business and development opportunities for career growth. The role is also responsible for administration of learning solutions.

    • Create a winning organization by institutionalizing integrated talent processes across our entire organization; break down silo mentality and work toward common goals for One Brinkmann

    • Collaborate across the organization to develop business acumen and build relationships needed to bring forward programs and solutions that address business and talent needs

    • Partner with managers to identify where competency and skill gaps exist throughout the organization

    • Conduct needs analysis to understand, clarify, identify, and/or define objectives for successful outcomes of learning and development efforts

    • Design, develop, implement and manage interactive programs and approaches for core talent management areas including onboarding

    • Create instructional materials and content for training programs using effective instructional design methodologies and technologies

    • Ensure utilization of a variety of learning and development approaches and consideration of scale and delivery methods for our blended workforce (on-site multi-office, remote)

    • Develop measurements to assess effectiveness of and draw insights from learning and development programs and initiatives

    • Develop and manage project plans that successfully ensure timely delivery of promised results

    • Recommend continuous improvement and evolution of programs and offerings including liaison with Subject Matter Experts to update and maintain existing training materials and programs

    • Select and manage external consultants and third-party vendor partners as applicable

    • Select, implement, and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) including integration with the Procore Training Center

    • Remain current on learning and development trends and best practices

    • Facilitate internal learning events and workshops, delivering content as appropriate

    • Move existing training content, as appropriate, to fit e-learning model

    • Provide administrative support of learning programs and solutions

    • Assist with budgeting and planning for training needs

    • Other duties as assigned
      • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, organizational development or related field required

      • 6-9 years' experience in learning and development and/or instructional design with background in AEC industry preferred

      • Prior experience and desire to build a learning strategy from the ground up

      • Experience utilizing blended and remote learning approaches preferred

      • Effective project management skills

      • Demonstrable technical writing skills

      • Knowledge of adult learning theory including ADDIE model, best practices of instructional design and learning transfer

      • Must be comfortable with public speaking and have facilitation experience

      • Persuade and champion learning change as applicable

      • Ability to travel between offices as needed
