Job Description Job Description Engineering Internship (Summer 2026) 100% onsite in Indianapolis IN Pay: $26-$28 an hour based on year in school Looking for juniors and seniors getting degree in mechanical engineering CAD or Solidworks experience needed Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern who is a junior or senior in college to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the engineering field while working on impactful projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, project management, and knowledge of AutoCAD and Smartsheet. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the planning of some projects within the company. • Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify technical drawings and designs as needed. • Manage project timelines and tasks using Smartsheet, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. • Support project managers in coordinating project activities and resources. • Participate in team meetings, providing updates on project status and contributing ideas for process improvements. • Conduct research and analysis to support ongoing projects and initiatives. • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. Minimum Requirements: • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a relevant degree program (e.g., Engineering, Project Management). • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 (or higher), and Smartsheet. • Basic understanding of project management principles and practices. • strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Engineering, Operations, Analytics, or related field (all majors considered) - strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Eagerness to learn, contribute, and work collaboratively. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
