Description This role supports the installation, operational
checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and tear-down of
instrumentation for Lab and Flight Testing. The position involves
making electrical wiring harnesses for stress testing across
various aircraft programs. The technician will work with mechanical
and electrical blueprints to assemble wiring bundles and harnesses
for direct installation into aircraft. The role requires using
electrical measurements, such as volt meters, strain gauges, and
accelerometers, and involves soldering and wiring. Responsibilities
Support installation, operational checks, maintenance,
troubleshooting, and tear-down of instrumentation. Fabricate
electrical wiring harnesses for stress testing on aircraft.
Assemble wiring bundles and harnesses using mechanical and
electrical blueprints. Utilize electrical measurement tools like
volt meters, strain gauges, and accelerometers. Perform soldering
and wiring tasks, with training available for those who need it.
Work in both lab and shop environments, assembling wiring and
installing it into aircraft. Essential Skills Experience with
electronics, electrical components, and test equipment. Attention
to detail is highly emphasized. Ability to work with mechanical and
electrical blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree with 2-10 years of experience or a degree in
electrical engineering with internship experience in a
manufacturing environment. Military background is advantageous but
not mandatory. Experience with electrical or electronic airplane
components and systems is beneficial. Work Environment This
position is 100% on-site, with work divided between the lab and the
shop. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of
Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position
is $34.00 - $35.87/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some
