Job Description Job Description Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic Location: St. Louis, MO 63128 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000 – $150,000 per year, based on skill & productivity Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift, No nights, No weekends, Overtime available, Year-round work About Us 55 Tires & Service is a family-owned and operated shop in St. Louis since 1997. We run a clean, professional 9-bay facility handling 300–400 cars per month (up to 600 during peak times). Compensation & Benefits $75,000 – $150,000 per year (based on skill & hours turned) $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months) No weekends ever (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Up to 160 hours of PTO in your first year (4 weeks) Health Insurance (75% paid individual health insurance premiums) Dental Insurance IRA with up to 3% match after 6 months Paid ASE certifications and ongoing training Relocation assistance for the right candidate Strong, organized front office staff that sells your work Clean, drama-free shop with a supportive team environment Employee discount Qualifications A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic 5 years of professional shop experience Own tools and diagnostic equipment Solid diagnostic and repair skills across multiple systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, A/C, etc.) MO State Inspection License (or willingness to obtain) ASE Certification preferred (not required) Team-first attitude and pride in workmanship Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and advanced diagnostics Execute repairs efficiently and accurately Communicate findings with service advisors Collaborate with peers on tough diagnostic challenges Maintain a clean, organized work area Uphold our reputation for quality and integrity Why Join Us?
