A respected, family-owned funeral home in the St. Louis area is
seeking a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer — or a Funeral
Director — for a full-time hybrid role that blends front-of-house
care with back-of-house technical expertise.With over a century of
service, this firm is rooted in tradition but forward-thinking in
practice. Their leadership is committed to building a team of
compassionate professionals who value meaningful service,
professional integrity, and a collaborative work environment.This
position is opening due to an upcoming retirement. While there’s no
urgent timeline, the owner is ready to begin conversations with
candidates who bring energy, purpose, and a long-term mindset to
the profession. What They’re Looking For: Licensed FDE or FD
(Missouri, or able to reciprocate) Ideally 1–5 years of experience
in funeral service Comfortable in a hybrid role — handling both
families and preparation Driven by service, detail-oriented, and a
strong team player Looking for stability, growth, and a long-term
home in funeral service What’s Being Offered: $60,000–$80,000
depending on experience and licensure Relocation assistance
